Supporting a family-oriented charity
Once upon a time I loved to doodle and daub. More recently I joined a group, which has been quite a challenge and here are some of the results – printed cards made from my art afternoons.
These ‘Postcards4Friends’ are a selection of some of my paintings and sketches, each being in a Set of 12.
BRIGHTNESS IN THE POST
It’s thoughtful to send a card at any time: a friendly note to show you care. Quick and easy, a few lines to someone living or working in isolation, or simply send a card for any reason, or just to keep in touch. Children especially love colourful cards, whilst housebound grannies appreciate hearing family news.
WHO WE’RE SUPPORTING
Through the sale of my cards I’m delighted to support the well-established registered charity Family Action (registered Charity No. 264713), committed to building stronger families by providing practical, emotional and financial support to those who are experiencing poverty, disadvantage and social isolation across England. Founded in 1869, today it works with over 45,000 families through over 140 community-based services, providing grants to thousands more.
